Our new EP – Macaroni Cheese – will be released by Disques Boum on 28th July, to coincide with our gig at The Exchange, Bristol.
The title-track is a vintage Moog-driven exercise in simplicity: two basic melodies played over a repeated three-chord sequence.
Connective Tissue was written and recorded spontaneously. Sitting somewhere between Paddy Kingsland and Serge Gainsbourg, it fuses a 5/4 sequence with analogue sweeps and musique concrète bursts.
The final track – Fun With Origami – has been part of the band’s live set for over a year, blending the John Baker-inspired palette of the first album with synth melodies and percussion derived from the tearing of paper.
